He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Darter and Marye Ford Darter; and his siblings, Ancel, Jack, Bill, Clyde, Betty Lou Brown and Carmel Darter.
He is survived by: his sister Juanella Darter of Ardmore; and his children, Randy Hamilton (Christine), Robert Parker (Bri), Tonya Ellis (Tommy) and Denisa Baker. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
