He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie and Leonard; and his grandparents, John T., Berniece Clayton, Jess Garrett and Susie Garrett.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Saylar, Ryder and Olivia; his wife Deanne Garrett; his children, Jerry Garrett II, Saylar of Duncan, OK and John T. Garrett (Carmen) of Lone Grove; his brother Tommy Garrett of Ardmore; his sister-in-law Ruby Garrett of Ardmore; his sisters, Patsy Emerson (Leon) of Wilson, Debby Garrett of Wilson, Peggy Eaves (Roy) of Marlow, Sally Mitchell (Doug) of Madill and Tammy McArthur (Jim) of Lone Grove; his parents-in-law, John Jeter and Ernestine Jeter; his siblings-in-law, Kelly Greathouse, Jimmy Jeter of South Carolina, John Higgins, Laveda Higgins of Ardmore, Lora Way of California and Bobby Higgins of Covina; his aunts, Betty Jo Daniel of Tishomingo and Mary Hightower of Stratford; and also, Ryder of Lone Grove, Olivia of Lone Grove, Larry Greathouse of Ardmore and His. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jug Garrett Memorial Scholarship Fund, established at First National Bank of Ardmore, Lone Grove, and Velma.
