He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard John Kalkman and Catherine Irene Kalkman (Fanning); and his siblings, Mary Ann Hathaway, Kathleen Cunningham and Clarence Kalkman.
He is survived by: his wife Consuelo Kalkman; his friend Bill Kalkman; his sister-in-law Joyce Kalkman; his daughters, Susan Habeck and Carol Kalkman; his son-in-law Jeff Watkins; and his grandchildren, Emily Habeck, Katherine Habeck, Joe Watkins, Ben Watkins and John Habeck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, their children, and their grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, any donation to a library of your choice would have made him very happy, as this is where he took his daughters on Tuesday evenings during their childhood.
