It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Ward of Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Leon, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin Wallace Ashcraft and Anna Ashcraft (Wrather); and her husband L. A. "Buck" Ward. She is also survived by her children; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
