He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha May Burchfield (Merriman) and Manzie Lee Burchfield; his siblings, Jewell Prater, Clifton, John and Gene Burchfield; and his granddaughter Rayshell Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Faye Cook of Gene Autry, OK; his children, Kathy (Andy) of Manhattan, KS and Curtis of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel, Connor, Brook, Colton, BreAnna, Jackson, Jayde, Juniper, Guinevere, Brinley, Nathan, Gloria, Cameron, Curtis, Grace, Lily, Noah, Jadon and Coby; and his brother Bill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
