He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Smith and Lola Geraldine Smith (McGuinn); his son Greg Smith; and his brother Monte Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Vandagriff; his wife Barbara Smith of Ardmore; his stepdaughter Stacey Moore of Ardmore; his sons, Jeffrey Smith of Colorado Springs and Danny Smith of Arlington, Texas; his stepsons, Larry Smith of Katy and Michael Smith of Houston, Texas; his brother Jerry Smith of Aransas Pass, Texas; his grandchildren, Joel Herren of Oklahoma City, Spencer Moore of Boston, Hartlyn Smith of Sunray, Preston Moore of Ardmore, Brayson Smith of Sunray and Sydney Moore of Ardmore; and his great grandchild Scottlyn Frische of Sunray.
