He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Monroe Thompson and Flake Edith Thompson (Hensley); his wife Pearl Thompson; and his children, Terry Thompson and Linda Ludwig.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Brewer of Ardmore, Brenda Williams of Covina, CA, Jerry Wayne Thompson of Ardmore, Okla and John Thompson; and his sister Edith Miller. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
