It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Alford (Ardmore, Oklahoma), born in Sulphur, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Avery Vanzant and Carby Lee Vanzant (Copeland); and her husband Marion. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Sands (Johnny) of Dickson, Mary Reeves of Dickson, Robbie Alford (Linda) of Tecumseh, OK. and Jerry Alford of Dickson; her sister Evonne McVeigh of Okemah, OK.; her grandchildren, Johnny Sands II (Heather) of Dickson, Robbie Lynn (Hennigh) of Choctaw, OK. and Melissa Carol Ozburn (Glenn) of Katy, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Johnny Ray Sands III, Luwinda Rain Sue Sands, Jedehiah Wayne Sands, Presley Elaine Sands, Rebecca Lynn Reeves, Lacey Nichole Reeves, Trevor Hennigh, Zack Hennigh, Alicia Hennigh and Rayelyn Hennigh. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
