It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Dodd (Ardmore, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Newman and Lucial DeShane Newman; and her sister Sarah Sue Newman Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Mark; her sister Juhree Newman of Ardmore; her children, Paula Plott (Terry) of Ardmore, Phillip Dodd (Susan) of Lone Grove, Lucial Shorter (Carl) of Lone Grove, Angie Dethloff (Joe) of Wilson, Christy Bench of Wilson and Robert Dodd of Ardmore; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Kerley (Crystal) of Wilson, Paul Kerley, Marcus Evans, Dusty Dodd (Jamie) of Lone Grove, Jordy Dodd (Brooke) of Dickson, Steven Summers (Laci) of Lone Grove, Brandon Shorter (Emily) of Oklahoma City, Michael Shorter (Amanda) of Lone Grove, Bradley Shorter (Brianna) of Lone Grove, Megan Harden (Jay) of Wilson, Chris Dethloff (Jordan) of Wilson, Marki Dethloff of Wilson, Colt Battles of Wilson and Connar Schiralli (Austin) of Wilson. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
