He was predeceased by: his father Bill Pettigrew; his siblings, Betty Jean Woods and Thomas Pettigrew; and his grandparents, Dan Pettigew, Tennie Pettigew, Isaac Nelson and Minnie Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Roxanne; his mother Emma Rae Pettigrew; his siblings, Russell Strayhorn (Lorenda), Robert Pettigrew (Bonnie), Darrell Pettigrew, Sr., Joe Pettigrew (Stacey), Lone Grove, Denise Taylor (Larry), Ardmore, Darlene Mason (Steve), Diane Martinez (Marcelino) and Norman; and also Ardmore.
