He was predeceased by: his parents, D. H. Burris and Pauline Venus Burris (Terry); his stepgranddaughter Kelly Nicole Jones; and his granddaughter Maddison Berisford. He is survived by: his pet Sadie; his children, Terri Linn McMillan and Robert Walter Burris, Jr.; and his stepsons, Tony Jones (Cheryl) and Roy Jones (LaTawyna). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other extended family.
