He was predeceased by : his father Buddy Coleman; his sister Tracy Coleman; and his grandparents, Carl, Nettie Coleman, Ernest and Margie Lambert.
He is survived by : his wife Tammy Coleman; his children, Britni Robertson (Chris) and Brandon Coleman; his mother Gay LuJuan Self; his sister Tina Hewett (Danny); and his children, Jonathon Shortle, Jacob Shortle, Cassandra Reveles and Kari Reveles. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
