She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clifton, Jr. and Anna Vivian Clifton (Brumbleow); and her brother Jack Clifton. She is survived by: her daughter Luciana Simmons; her niece Debra Wakeman; her sister-in-law Patricia Clifton; and her cousin Cricket Collins (Earl).
