He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas O. Cook and Regenia Cook (Roberts); and his sisters, Eloise Davis (Cook) and Barbara Pigg (Cook). He is survived by : his wife Dana Cook (Alexander); his daughter Emily Saunders (Aaron); his grandchildren, Carter Dodge, Stormie Saunders, Haley Saunders, Blane Saunders, Zack Saunders and Chloe Saunders; his brother-in-law Denny Alexander (Sandra Alexander); and his nephews, Bob Alexander and Andy Alexander. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 120 Veterans Blvd, Ardmore, OK 73401.
