He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Lawson, Sr. and Oleta Williams Lawson; and his nephew Scott Lawson. He is survived by: his children, Billy Lawson (Alexia), Holly Lawson and Christy Lawson Boswell; his siblings, Lonna Shorter (Kenneth), Lonnie Lawson, Jr. (Kathy), Freddy Don Lawson (Melinda) and Carroll Lawson; and his grandchildren, Mason, Amelia, Jaxon, Chase Lawson, Madison Beesley, Zane and Katie Boswell.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Springer Fire Department, 130 Angus Avenue Springer, Oklahoma 73458.
