He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Brooks and Ruby Foster DeBord; and his siblings, Audie Gentry, Margaret Redmon and Junior DeBord.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Shelly Scott, Dana Perkins, Dawn DeBord, Wesley, Chris and Dennis DeBord; and his siblings, Jimmy DeBord and Flo Knight. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
