He was predeceased by: his parents, Williard Evans and Alberta Evans (Chitwood); his siblings, Charles William Evans, Walter Hill Evans, Alonza Joel Evans, James Edward Evans, Susan Evelyn Blair, Helen Louise Evans, Sarah Elilzabeth Brewer, Deloris Maxine Head and Lois Caroline Evans; and his siblings-in-law, John Blair, Jack Layton, James Brewer, Gordon Head, Lewis Layton, Virgil "Buddy", Norma Evans, Mary Evans and Oleta Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Retha Leona Evans; his children, Barbara Lewis (Kenneth) of Tulsa, OK, Walter Evans (Anglia) of Lane, OK, Carolyn Riley (Ronnie) of Shady Point, OK and Phyllis Bates (Vern) of Atoka, OK; his nephew Evan Layton of Stringtown, OK; and his siblings, Winfred Dale Evans (Delinda) of Atoka, OK, Geraldean Helen Layton of Armstrong, OK and Joyce Columbine of Stringtown, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
