He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Selby and Julia Mae Selby (Edwards); his wife Oneda Gray Selby; his great grandchild Madelyn Bess; his siblings, George Carlton Selby, Lela Selby Lee Selby and Thelma Selby Chick; and his close friend Tom Woolf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle and Kristi; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Tanya, John Keith and Allie; and his niece Tressie Damron. He is also survived by great grandchildren, 12; great great grandchildren, 3; brother.
