She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Adair (Dwayne) of Caney, OK, Karen Meadows (Rickey) of Tushka and Peggy McBride; her friend Cathy Niebruegge of Caney, OK.; her siblings, Virgil Benefield of Hugo, OK, Ethel Price of Madill, OK, Jack Benefield (Wilma) of Claremore, OK and Joe Benefield (Retha) of Jay, OK.; and her grandchildren, Amanda Blue (Brandon) of Milburn, OK, Traci Alford (Greg) of Caney, OK, Dustin Meadows (Candi) of Tushka, OK, Chance Crites (Jessica) of Caney, OK, Kent McBride (Amanda) of Caney, OK, Jesse Meadows (Cayla) of Slaughterville, OK, Ethan McBride, Tyler Adair (J'Lyn) of Caney, OK and Skylar Adair of Durant, OK.

Joyce "Mema" passed away July 22, 2018 in her home at the age of 82 after a battle with Alzheimer's.
