It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi Faye of Atoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Newby and Francille Elizabeth Newby (Koontz); her husband Ralph Gooding Sr.; her sons, Ralph Gooding Jr. and Clifford Gooding; and her siblings, Sandy Goff and Dale Newby.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lamar of Clarkston, WA, Helen Gooding of California, Elizabeth Brooks (Ricky) of Norman, OK and Melissa Moses of Marysville, CA; and her siblings, Roland Newby (Virginia) of McAlester, OK, Rick Newby of Atoka, OK, Rose Crawley (Red) of Wagoner, OK, Patty Skaggs (Roger) of Moore, OK, Judy Chastain (Larry) of Lehigh, OK and Celia Durant (Brent) of Crystal, OK. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
