She was predeceased by: her father Alexander Briggs; her husband J. D. Chance; her mother Elverta Briggs; and her sisters, Ethel Irene Sherman and Alexis May Briggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Truett (Casey) of Bixby and Deborah "Debby" Carter of Lynnwood, Washington; her grandchildren, Melinda Goodwin, Amy Jackson, Lauren Key, Christopher Truett and Zachary Truett; her great grandchildren, Blake, Lily, Tate, Fiona, Samantha, Braxton, Asher, Nolan, Atticus, Brady and Scarlet; and her sisters, Berna Deen Kemerling and Billie Marsh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
