He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edmund, Jr. and Clarice Irene Chouteau (Billingsley); his siblings, Ben, Ruth and Martha; his former wife Shirley Ann Stark; his wife Barbara Dene Kuepker (Penna); and his daughter Marilyn Denise Chouteau.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacquelyn Diane Chester (Don) and Dana Lynn Garcia (Pete); and his stepchildren, Jim Kuepker (Debbie), Kathy Pearson (Mike) and Carol Kulchinski (Dave).
