She was predeceased by: her father Charles Edward Strain, Sr.; her husband Ronald Leon "Butch" Hanson; her brother Charles Edward Strain, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Rhonda Hopper. She is survived by: her mother Donna June Strain (Hampton); her children, Tara Lynne Hanson and Todd Leon Hanson (Whitney); her grandchildren, Rylie, Laney, Kylan, Penelope "Penny" and Tripp; her great grandchild Jade; her sisters, Chiquita Walls, Deborah Henderson and Robin Hamilton (David); and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Melton (Betty), Danny Melton (Suzie) and Dickie Melton (Nancy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home - Beggs (205 W Main St, Beggs, OK 74421). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel (303 E 7th St, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to help with Sherri's final expenses.
