He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edmond and Viola Mae Cotter (Thissen); his wife Betty; and his brothers, Lloyd, Leon "Red" and Leslie Cotter.
He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Ferguson (Rhonda), Charles Edmond Cotter, Barbara Lynn Parker, Pamela Marie Pendley, Lois Mae Lowrance and Jo Lea Ford; and his brother Ray Cotter. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that those wishing to honor Mr. Cotter with a memorial donation, direct those gifts to the Wounded Warrior Project.
