He was predeceased by : his parents, Byron Goodger and Leatha Goodger; his stepfather Leland Howard; and his siblings, Sandy Carnero and Lester Goodger.

He is survived by : his grandchild Jaime; his wife Kathy; his daughters, Julie Hawk (Travis) and Jaime Goodger; his grandchildren, Carter Hawk, Kori and Kaci Hawk; and his brother Tommy Howard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
