He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. L. Wheeler Sr. and Cecil Lyter; his wife Reba Wheeler; his children, Everett Wheeler, Carol Wheeler, Larry Wheeler (Kathy) of Port O'Conner, Evan Wheeler, D. S. (Sherry) of North Pole and Paul Wheeler; and his grandchildren, Matt, John, Adrienne, Brian, Cheyenne, Kevin, Regan and Sarah. He was also cherished by his eighteen great-grandchildren.
