He was predeceased by : his parents, Haskell Ray Smith and Patsy Ophelia Burnett Smith; his son Joby Lee Smith; his brothers, Phil Beavers, Lynn Beavers and Paul Smith; and his grandparents, Tuck, Carrie Burnett, Jack and Gertrude Smith.
He is survived by : his wife Jo Carole Smith of Broken Bow; his daughter Dala; his son-in-law Joel Bein of Tulsa; his stepsons, Scott McNiel of Tulsa and Jason Pike of Broken Bow; his brothers, Ronnie Smith of Oregon and Donnie Smith of Oregon; his grandchildren, Jack Bein, Britni Adams, Zeb Pike and Evie Pike; his nephews, John Beavers, Sean Beavers, Matthew Beavers and Andrew Beavers; and his niece Kendra Beavers. He is also survived by great nieces and nephew, along with many other relatives and friends.
