He was predeceased by : his wife Lura Marine Downs Hicks; and his siblings, Gene, Earl Hicks and Lorene Murdock. He is survived by : his children, Randel Hicks (Kim), Alan Hicks (Linda), Gordon Hicks (Kerry), Karen Simon (Steve) and Kathy Strickland (Mike); his grandchildren, Andy Hicks (Candice), Aimee Nail (Ronnie), Caroline York (Travis), Brent Simon (Janine), Jason Simon (Myra), Kevin Simon (Kelly), Katie Strickland of Nashville, TN, Christopher Strickland (Megan), Kaylyn McAllister (Steven) and Kelsey Hicks of Broken Arrow, OK; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Hannah, Isabella, Jackson Hicks, Hunter, Andrew Nail, Nathan, Caleb York of Tulsa, OK, Blake, Chase, Kayla Simon and Hudson Simon of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Good Shepherd Ministries of OKC (GoodShepherdOKC.org) or to First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.
