He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ernest Daniel Knickle and Hilda Rhoda Thompson; his wife Edna Earl Blankenship Knickle; his grandson Shawn Thompson; his stepson Terry Martin; his stepgranddaughters, Tracy and Michelle; his siblings, Byron Knickle, Walter Knickle, Aurthur Knickle, Mildred Wambolt, Marguerite Knickle and Blanche McCarthy; and his parents-in-law, Alvin and Lois Blankenship.
He is survived by: his children, Magalene Ferrell (Jim) of Granberry, TX, Deborah Thompson of Burleson, TX, Tammie Halley (Frank) of Sherman, TX and Tony Knickle (Patty) of Calera, OK; his stepdaughter Penny Anderson of Porum, OK; and his brother Arnold Knickle (Alice) of Nova Scotia, Canada. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and his nephew.
