He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Houtz and Oleta Houtz; his brothers, Jack Houtz, David Houtz and Joe Houtz; and his niece Gina Houtz.
He is survived by: his wife Evalee Houtz of Cement, OK; his children, Jani Houtz of Cement, OK, Amber Doughty (Brian) of Cement, OK and Sonja Dee Higgins (Kirk) of Walters, OK; his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Breeanna and Brailee; and his sister Lynda Holzheuser (Chico) of Cyril, OK.
