She was predeceased by: her parents, Ryder Bear and Etta Bear (Carr); her husband Bud Howell; her children, Donald Ray Howell, Larry Howell and Rita Ann Howell; and her siblings, Seamon Bear, Della Mae Rayon, Samaria Willbanks and Naggie Willbanks.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Howell of Charlotte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
