He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Fry and Marie Fry; his brothers, Jackie and Jim Fry; his father-in-law Charles Henderson; and his granddaughter Jolen Fry.
He is survived by: his son Joe William Fry Jr. At; his pet Tiger; his wife Marilyn; his daughter Melanie Lannen (Brian); his siblings, Roger Fry, Wayne Fry and Linda Bolen; his grandchildren, Tyler Fry, Trent Chancellor (Rylee), Holly Lannen, Loren Fry and Lilien Fry; his great grandchildren, Eastin Allen and Natalie Jo; and his mother-in-law Patsy Henderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
