He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Hawkins; his wife Josie Brown; his sons, Johnny Mack Brown, Jr. and Kevin Lee Brown; his sister Bell Wilson; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Stone and Walter Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter Cochanna Brown of Checotah; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Love, Stephanie Love, Steven Love and Lauren Brown. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
