It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Means of Cherokee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Robert Means Sr. and Lois Edna Mann Means; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Green; his children, Toni, Jamie (Jen), Danny, Connie and David (Kim); his grandchildren, Mary, Deborah Reese (Caleb), Rebecca, Rachel, Sheldon, Alonna, Gracie and Asher; and his nieces and nephews, Tom (Kathleen), Karen Menefee (Ron), Gary (Shiela) and Sharon Stout (Tim).

In lieu of flowers you may give to the Hopeton Wesleyan Church Youth Group, the Extreme, through the funeral home.
