It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Louise Gwartney of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fathers, Robert Lewis and Ray Ellen Martin (Thompson); her husband Harold Eugene Gwartney; and her son Darrel Lee Gwartney. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Johnson (Jay) of Nowata, Oklahoma, Eugene Gwartney (Michelle) of Strong City and Kelley Gwartney (Karla) of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; her daughter-in-law Sandol Johnson of Thrall, Texas; and her brother Robert Dewayne Martin (Gloria) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
