He was predeceased by: his father Henry Lucius; his brother Henry Lucius Jr.; his stepfather EJ Smith; his grandparents, Elijah and Louise Shelton; and his uncles, Charles Ray Shelton, Miller Joe Shelton, Cecil Shelton and Vernon Dean Shelton.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Shelton Ira of Frederick Oklahoma; his aunts, Ivory Pearl Wren, Judy Ann Johnson and Genice Shelton; his cousins, Yolanda Renee Shelton, Pamela Regale Shelton and Miller Joe Shelton Jr.; his siblings, Mary Hill of Frederick Oklahoma, Thereas Shelton of Frederick Oklahoma, Brenda Shelton of Vernon, TX, Rose Simien (Manning Simien) of Tipton Oklahoma, His and Earl Shelton of Frederick Oklahoma; his goddaughter Ivy Marie Hill of Frederick Oklahoma; his uncle Elijah Shelton Jr. (Delorse Shelton); and his aunts, Eleanor Shelton of Amarillo, TX, Cynthia Shelton of Oklahoma City and Bernice Lax (Ronnie Lax). He is also survived by cousins, niece's nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hawkins Chapel (221 S 3rd St, Frederick, OK 73542). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hawkins Chapel Church of God in Christ (221 S 3rd St, Frederick, OK 73542).
