She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred David Pate and Neoma Jaquelyn Pate (Woodward); and her siblings, Carmie Freeman, J. B. Pate, Millie "Geneva" Pate Wood, Billy Joe Pate and Naomi "Virginia" Lee Pate Rice.

She is survived by : her husband Joey Tannehill; her children, Douglas Wayne Lee (Deborah) of Crossville, Tennessee and Sherri Janelle Oxner of Chalmette, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Hannah (Dan DelRossi), Timothy (Kim Lee), Joseph (Valerie Lee), Elizabeth (Garan Williams), Benjamin Lee, Mary Lee, Benji Lee and Farrell Oxner (Shelby Oxner). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and other extended family and friends.
