She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Avery and Mathilda Avery; her husband Matthew Brownlee; her daughters, Gloria Edmonds, Louise Lewis and Ella Boyles; her granddaughters, Chaka Boyles and Trena Rogers; and her siblings, Henry Crowder, Adolf Avery, Tommie Lee Avery, Talmadge Avery, Dorothy Jean Brown, Rosezail Wilson, Bernice Porter, Maudie Wilson and Lucille Brown.
She is survived by: her former husband John P. Amos; her sister Ella Mae Myers (RV Myers) of Memphis, Tennessee; and her sons, John Henry Amos (Yvoone) of Claremore and Charles Edward Amos (Della) of Jenks, Oklahoma. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
