He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Clingenpeel and Rachel Clingenpeel; his brothers, Floyd Clingenpeel and Alan Clingenpeel; and his daughter Kayla.
He is survived by: his spouse Barbra Cook; his children, David Tyler Clingenpeel and Melissa Clingenpeel; his granddaughter Jordan Goodrich; and his siblings, Beverly Bruce (Kelly) and Wilbur Clingenpeel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
