He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Charles Hanlin and Magel Ellen Munsey (Luke); his wife Phyllis Hanlin; and his siblings, C. C. Hanlin, Niles Hanlin, Jack Hanlin, Charles Hanlin, Herb Hanlin and Joan Wadsworth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Osborne-Rider (Michael) and Vickie Benningfield (Darel); his grandchildren, Jason Carrico, Amanda Carrico-Dodson (Koa), Brandy Veron, Jon Aaron Carrico (Angie Baker), Anthony Benningfield and Luke Osborne (Jacquelynn); his great grandchildren, Dustin Andrews, Kirstin Carrico, Chance Massa, Cheyenne Massa, Chandler Massa, Gabriella Bartelme, Megan Hopkins, Colby Osborne, Logan Hopkins, Jaden Ham and America-Renée Freeman; his great great grandchildren, Jaxon Carrico and Bentley Eastburn; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Hanlin. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
