He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dean and Lola Eleanor Thiessen. He is survived by: his siblings, Elaine (John I. Blair IV) and Karl Dwayne Thiessen; his nieces and nephews, John Blair (Cherie Nicholson), Brittney Bishop (Jason), Rachel (Jordan) and Josh Thiessen; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailey, Ben, Bradley Blair, David-James, Faith-Anna Nicholson, Parker, Ty, Chase, Eleanor Bishop and Alexander Hoosier.
