He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Burnett and Sarah Sexton Burnett; his siblings, Juanita Barnes, Imogene Sorrels, Chester Burnett and Harold Burnett; his sister-in-law Edith Burnett; and his close friends, Bill and Margaret Lowery (Nelson).
He is survived by: his wife Shelia; his sons, Terry Burnett (Shelley Claremore) and Kevin Burnett; his granddaughters, Robyn Burnett of Tahlequah, OK and Brittney Burnett of Claremore, OK.; his brother Leroy Burnett (Donna) of Checotah, OK; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Burnett, Sonya Adamson Willis and Karen Adamson Kerstetter (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with their spouses.
