She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Fina Myrtle Smith (Mitchell); and her siblings, Melba Cottom (Smith) and Claude Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jim Higeons; her daughters, Deborah Purinton (Don) of Oklahoma City and Donna Langston (Gary) of Paso Robles; and her grandchildren, Victoria Asay of Oklahoma City and Christopher Langston of Paso Robles.
