She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Pauline England Thompson and Luther Newton Thompson; her sister Joy Nixon; and her grandson Anthony. She is survived by: her husband Ennis Smith; her children, Rhonda English and Gary English; her stepdaughters, Linda Muncy and Sandy Fugate; and her siblings, Minnie Brassfield, Lois Harrison, Luke and Paul Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
