He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Thompson and Pauline Thompson (England); his wife Maxine Owens; his siblings, Billy Thompson, Joy Nixon and Opal Smith; and his grandson Jackie Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Jack (Cathie), Debbie Thompson, Toney Dicks and Connie Wilson (Eddie); his siblings, Minnie Brassfield, Lois Harrison and Luke Thompson (Trudy); and his grandchildren, Shane Thompson, Travis Thompson, Levi Adams and Casey Wilson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
