He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hanes and Alma Hanes (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jane Montgomery; and his son Randy Hanes (Edie) of Verdigris. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
