With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam Cowherd of Claremore, Oklahoma, born in Weleetka, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Murrell Cowherd. He is survived by: his mother Helen Cowherd (Young) of Tulsa; his wife Rebecca; his brothers, Kim (Sue) of Edmond and Kent Cowherd of Cape Cod; his stepson Jason Sims (Ashley) of Colorado; and his daughter Amy Cope. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
