She was predeceased by: her parents, James Manley and Josephine Leflore Long Buie; her husband John David Shropshire; and her siblings, Victor Buie (Wahala) and Mable Doris Buie.
She is survived by: her children, Choya and Sonya; her children-in-law, Kemmie Shropshire and Frank Clark; her grandsons, Jess Moore (Samantha), Joseph Shropshire (Traci) and Jacob Shropshire; her great grandchildren, Ella Moore, Holden, Charlotte Williamson, William Shropshire, Lilly Ann Shropshire, Lucas Shropshire, Gabriel Shropshire and Charlie Ann Shropshire; and her brothers, Jimmy Buie (Velma) and Travis Buie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
