Walter Charles Hailey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Charles Hailey of Claremore, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Marland Hailey and Myrtle Alice May Hailey (Ingram); his daughter Sheryl Kay; and his siblings, Marlin Hailey and Kathy Besio.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Janice Wilks (Terry), Tammy Beam and Jeff Hailey (Becky); his grandchildren, Jim Beam (Inez), Sheila Chalakee, Sharlet Kanehl (David), Shanda Heatherly (Craig), Silynse Britt, Alex Briggs (Tim), Shampaigne Willcox, Alex Hailey and Sami Hailey; and his siblings, Rosemary Thompson, Jody Pinta, Jesse Hailey and Ray Hailey. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, Claremore, or the Alzheimer's Association.
