He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris Edgar and Maude Edgar (Hudson); and his siblings, Laverne Lucas, Levetta Teagarden, Lidafern Hill, Richard Edgar and Hollis Edgar.

He is survived by: his wife Dolly; his children, Anna Lynn Brown of Cleveland, Wayne Edgar of Cleveland and Sam Edgar (Susan) of Cleveland, Oklahoma; and his brother Frank Edgar (Carole) of Terlton. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
